BXY CBOE S&P 500 2% OTM BuyWrite Index

The Index is a passive total return index based on (1) buying a S&P 500 stock index portfolio, and (2) “writing” (or selling) the near-term S&P 500 Index (SPX) “covered” call option, generally on the third Friday of each month. The SPX call that is written will have about one month remaining to expiration, with an exercise price 2% above the prevailing index level (i.e., 2% out of the money). The SPX call is held until one day prior to expiration and is liquidated at a volume-weighted average price determined at the close. The SPX call option is settled in cash, at which time a new one-month,2% out of the money call is written.
