CEFD ETRACS Monthly Pay 1.5X Leveraged Closed-End Fund Index ETN

This is an exchanged traded note issued by UBS Bank that is linked to the 1.5 x performance, before fees and expenses, of the S-Network Composite Closed-End Fund Index.The Index currently includes about 140 closed-end funds that invest in taxable investment grade fixed-income securities, taxable high yield fixed-income securities, and other closed end funds that utilize an equity option writing (selling) strategy. The index selects from a starting universe of 200+ fixed income and option income closed-end funds, and then eliminates certain funds based on size and trading volume. The Index also eliminates any funds with a total expense ratio > 2% and funds trading at premiums > 20%. The Index weights each closed end fund using each fund's net assets, but it adjusts the weighting based on how much the fund is trading at a premium or discount to net asset value.
