Seeks to track, before fees and expenses, the S&P Kensho Clean Power Index. The Index is designed to measure the performance of companies involved in advances in clean technology and clean energy. A sector index within the S&P Kensho New Economy Index Series, the S&P Kensho Clean Power Index intends to represent companies in the S&P Kensho Clean Energy Index and the S&P Kensho Cleantech Index that are focused on improving the efficiency and reducing the costs of the underlying technology involved in the generation of power from wind, solar, hydroelectric, and geothermal sources.
