The index is a subset of the Dow Jones U.S. Index, which aims to provide 95% market capitalization coverage of U.S.-traded stocks. It represents the Utilities Industry (7000) as defined by the ICB classification system. An "industry" under the ICB system is equivalent in concept to a "sector" under the GICS system. It is float market cap weighted.
