It also has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the San Acacio silver deposit that consists of 10 mining concessions located to the north of the city of Zacatecas, Mexico. The company was formerly known as Defiance Capital Corp. and changed its name to Defiance Silver Corp. in June 2011. Defiance Silver Corp. was incorporated in 2007 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
