EDC Direxion Daily Emerging Markets Bull (3x) ETF

Seeks daily investment results before fees and expenses of 300% of the price performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. EDC holds some shares in EEM, the iShares Emerging Markets ETF, but primarily achieves its 300% leverage using swaps and other financial derivatives. Because EDC can achieve the 300% leverage using swaps, without using all of its cash, EDC typically also has a large amount of excess cash that is invested in short-term investments.The Index captures large and mid cap representation across emerging market countries. The Index covers approximately 85% of the free float-adjusted market capitalization in each country. The number of countries in the Index can change, as MSCI has a formal process each year to re-evaluate which countries in the world should be classified as an "emerging market". The Index is a market capitalization weighted index.
