FEMSA owns a substantial share in Coca-Cola FEMSA (NYSE:KOF), the largest franchise bottler of Coca-Cola beverages in the world by volume, operating in franchise territories in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Guatemala and, nationwide, in the Philippines, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama, accounting for one of every eight Coca-Cola products sold globally. FEMSA also participates in the retail industry through FEMSA Comercio, comprising a Retail Division operating primarily through OXXO, the largest and fastest-growing chain of small-format stores in Latin America, with more than 17,478 stores across Mexico and Colombia; a Health Division, which includes drugstores and related operations with 2,303 pharmacies across Chile, Colombia and Mexico; and a Fuel Division with 519 gas stations located in 16 states of Mexico. FEMSA is also the second largest equity stake in Heineken, one of the world’s leading brewers with operations in over 70 countries.
