The Life & Savings segment offers term life, whole life, universal life, endowment, deferred and immediate annuities, and other investment-based products; and critical illness and permanent health insurance products for individual and commercial clients, as well as manages a book of reinsurance contracts of variable annuity guarantees. The Property & Casualty segment provides motor, household, property, and general liability insurance primarily for personal customers, and small and medium-sized companies; and health products, as well as engineering services to support prevention policies in companies. The Asset Management segment provides investment management products, such as managed accounts, hedge funds, mutual funds, and other investment products to individual investors, and private and institutional clients; and fundamental research, quantitative service, and brokerage related services in equities and listed options for institutional investors. The Banking segment offers retail banking, mortgage loans, and savings products. The company was founded in 1852 and is headquartered in Paris, France.
