ABN AMRO Group N.V. provides various banking products and services in the Netherlands and internationally. It operates through three segments: Retail Banking, Private Banking, and Corporate Banking. The Retail Banking segment offers personal banking products and services, including savings accounts, retirement products, investment products, payments, consumer loans, mortgages, credit cards, and credit facilities; and travel, car, living, life, liability and legal, and valuables insurance products to individuals and small businesses through a network of 221 branches, and advice and service centers, as well as through Internet and mobile banking channels. The Private Banking segment offers banking, financial and estate planning, and investment services and products, as well as other products and services designed to address individual requirements. It also provides life insurance products for high net-worth individuals, as well as customized solutions with focus on unit-linked contracts. This segment operates approximately 50 branches. The Corporate Banking segment offers derivatives and equity clearing services; working capital funding on debtors and inventory; and asset-based solutions, including equipment lease and finance services. ABN AMRO Group N.V. was incorporated in 2009 and is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
