SLA63W Solactive E-commerce Index

The Index tracks companies from around the world, including emerging markets, which are active in the field of E-commerce. This may include companies that operate E-commerce platforms, provide E-commerce software, analytics or services, and/or primarily sell goods and services online and generate the majority of their overall revenue from online retail. The index includes a maximum of 40 constituents. Using keywords that describe the index theme, the algorithm identifies companies that have or are expected to have a significant exposure to the field of E-commerce. The algorithm then ranks the companies according to the frequency with which the company is referenced in relation to the specific keywords. Companies are only eligible if they generate at least 50% of their revenues from E-commerce related business operations. If, after the selection process, there are less than 30 companies included in the index, source of sales data provided by FactSet will be used to identify additional companies that generate at least 50% of their revenues from online sales. Companies are ranked in descending order according to their percentage of online sales and then added to the list of constituents until 30 companies are eligible for inclusion. Companies must have a minimum market cap of $200 million.
