The Index selects 500 constituents of the Solactive US Broad Market Index in the following way: the largest 500 components are excluded, and the next 500 largest stocks are selected for the index, subject to a 20% buffer rule to limit index turnover. The weights of the components are based on the market value of each security as a starting point, but then these initial weights are then over/underweighted according to each security’s growth score, which combines growth rates of different financial ratios.
