Its solutions comprise laser scanner, airborne camera, unmanned aerial vehicle, mobile mapping technology, and precise positioning solutions. This segment's solutions are used in surveying, infrastructure and construction, public Safety, natural resources, transport and public service, and defense industries. The company was formerly known as Eken Industri & Handel AB and changed its name to Hexagon AB (publ) in 1993.
