SSGAGDI SPDR SSGA Gender Diversity Index

The Index starts with the 1,000 largest U.S. companies by market capitalization, and then calculates the ratio of female executives to total executives for each company, using publicly available information. The 1,000 companies are categorized into 10 sectors. The top companies with the highest ratio of female executives in each of the 10 sectors, up to a 10% cap per sector, are put into a pool for possible consideration. The Index then selects from that pool companies which have at least one female in one of the following positions in the company as of the most recent index rebalance determination date: Chief Executive Officer, chairperson, or member of the board of directors.
