SSQSX State Street Institutional Small-Cap Equity Fund Service Class

This is an open ended mutual fund. The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80 of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes under normal circumstances in equity securities of small-cap companies such as common and preferred stocks. It defines a small-cap company as one with a market capitalization that at the time of investment falls between a the market capitalization of the smallest company in the Russell 2000 Index and b either the market capitalization of the largest company in the Russell 2000 Index or 3.0 billion.
