The SCG Cement-Building Materials segment manufactures and sells grey cement, ready-mixed concrete, white cement, dry mortar, roof tiles, concrete paving blocks, ceramic tiles, sanitary wares, and sanitary fittings. It also distributes cement, building, and decorative products through distributors; and imports fuel products, waste paper, and scrap iron. The SCG Chemicals segment manufactures and sells olefins, polyolefins, and other chemical products. The SCG Packaging segment manufactures and sells paper and plastic packaging products, pulp, dissolving pulp, and printing and writing paper. The Other segment invests primarily in agricultural machine, automotive parts and components, and steel businesses, as well as other services. The company is also involved in land leasing, marketable securities, insurance, and industrial sites businesses; and the provision of accounting, financial, tax, and legal consultancy services. The Siam Cement Public Company Limited was founded in 1913 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
