Aygaz Anonim Sirketi, together with its subsidiaries, purchases and sells liquid petroleum gas (LPG) to retailers for distribution to customers in Turkey. The company operates through three segments: Gas and Petroleum Products; Electricity; and Other. It also manufactures and exports LPG cylinders, LPG tanks, LPG stoves, and other supplementary materials, as well as valves and pressure regulators. In addition, the company distributes LPG autogas, cylinder gas, and bulk gas; markets LPG-operated devices; carries out LPG marine transportation; sells carboy water; trades in fuel and lubricants through its autogas stations; and sells consumer durable goods. Further, it engages in the delivery of natural gas to customers through pipelines; and liquefied natural gas to customers through specially designed vehicles. Additionally, it purchases, builds, rents, and operates vessels, which transport crude oil, petroleum products, liquid petroleum gas, natural gas and solid, liquid, and liquefied products; and generates, distributes, and sells electricity. It operates with total 244 MW of installed capacity with six 87-MW hydroelectric power plants located in Karaman, Samsun, and Mersin, as well as a natural gas cycle plant of 157 MW in Kocaeli. The company provides its services through 2,359 cylinder gas dealers; and 1,710 autogas stations. Aygaz Anonim Sirketi was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.
