Seeks to track, before fees and expenses, the CRSP U.S. Mid Cap Growth Index.The Index measures the investment return of mid-capitalization growth stocks. Stocks in the CRSP U.S. Mid Cap Index (about 340 stocks) are scored and ranked for both Value and Growth factors. CRSP generally categorizes each stock as either a value or a growth stock, but some stocks may be split between the two style assignments. CRSP classifies growth securities using a composite growth factor using future long-term growth in earnings per share (22%), future short-term growth in EPS (22%), 3-year historical growth in EPS (16%), 3-year historical growth in sales per share (16%), current investment-to-assets ratio (11%), and return on assets (11%).
